Never give up! Even when you are down and seemingly helpless, always pluck your courage to drag yourself out of the rut and keep moving towards your goal.
This may sound like an empty advice but do look at the video below to draw inspiration.
This clip shows a teenage runner who broke her leg during a relay marathon, but still finished the race on her hands and bloodied knees.
Rei Iida, 19, fell and fractured her leg with just 200 yards to go of her 2.2 mile stage of a relay marathon in Fukoka, Japan last October.
Despite what would have been a painful injury, the university student was determined to finish her stretch of the race.
She crawled on the tarmac as fast as her broken leg can carry her, with volunteers and bystanders cheering her on.
The teenage amateur runner had reportedly refused to quit when she was approached on the tarmac, asking “how many meter are left until my goal?”, according to Runners World.
That is what you call perseverance and will to do things.
Never give up! Draw inspiration from Rei Iida.
